While growing up in New York, Tommy recognized the impact that excess human consumption can have on wildlife and natural resources, motivating him to earn a Bachelor’s degree in both Environmental Science and Urban Design & Architecture, from New York University, as well as a minor in Psychology. In April 2019, Tommy joined WCN to support its Partner Network of world-class, community-based conservation organizations that work to ensure wildlife and people coexist and thrive. He strives to challenge the status quo that has led to the current crises related to climate, biodiversity, & environmental justice, by ensuring local stewards are justly supported for their global contribution to maintaining critical ecosystem services for the benefit of all humanity. Tommy is a fluent Spanish speaker, avid traveller, dancer, biker, dj, surfer, mindfulness practitioner, and social activist.
