Sanaa Payge is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.A. in Public and Urban Affairs, specializing in Smart and Sustainable Cities, and a minor in Africana Studies. Hailing from Arlington, VA, Sanaa’s journey from her first job at the Student Conservation Association to becoming an Impact Analyst at WCN has been profoundly shaped by hands-on experiences and a passion for environmental stewardship. Sanaa’s passion for environmentalism and urban studies, rooted in equity and justice, drives her to bridge gaps in environmental education, especially for marginalized communities.
At WCN, Sanaa is enthusiastic about contributing to global conservation efforts by refining impact metrics and designing systems to showcase WCN’s achievements. Sanaa is also a participant of the Roger Arliner Young (RAY) Fellowship Program, which aims to connect emerging leaders of color with peers and mentors across conservation NGOs and the clean energy sector to launch them onto a path of career growth.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Sanaa treasures friendships and transformative experiences, where every challenge and connection contributed to her growth as a leader and climate action advocate. In her downtime, you can find Sanaa exploring new vinyl records, diving into literature, or enjoying moments with friends.
