Ruth is a Zambian conservationist with the Painted Wolf Foundation, where she leads grantmaking, communications, and donor engagement efforts to support wildlife conservation across Zambia. Her scholarship will support her studies for an MBA in Conservation Leadership at the African Leadership University. Ruth aims to explore sustainable ways for local communities to benefit from wildlife areas, driving long-term conservation and creating lasting solutions for human-wildlife coexistence. She envisions becoming a leader in conservation policy and community-driven wildlife protection, advocating for sustainable development that harmonizes human welfare with ecological integrity.
She was nominated by Nick Dyer, CEO of the Painted Dog Fund, a WCN Wildlife Fund.
Awarded the Sidney Byers Scholarship for Wildlife Conservation.
