Victor is a Kenyan natural resources manager and Food Security and Livelihood Officer at Save The Elephants. He works directly with communities on conservation agriculture, tree management, and environmental education to enhance food security while protecting vital ecosystems and elephant populations. His scholarship supports his Master’s studies at Newcastle University, where he is researching sustainable farming systems to reduce human-elephant conflict. Victor’s goal is to empower farmers with strategies to coexist peacefully with elephants, offering sustainable solutions that protect farmers’ livelihoods while preserving elephant populations. His long-term ambition is to influence national policies that support sustainable farming and environmental preservation.
He was nominated by Frank Pope, CEO at Save The Elephants, a WCN Partner, and was awarded the Pat J. Miller Scholarship for Wildlife Conservation.
