The Pangolin Crisis Fund is a collaborative granting initiative created by the Wildlife Conservation Network and Save Pangolins, to help save all eight species of pangolins from extinction.

The Pangolin Crisis Fund is managed by WCN, which proudly maintains the highest possible 100% 4-star rating through Charity Navigator. The PCF has technical oversight by Save Pangolins and follows the same principles of WCN’s Wildlife Funds and is governed by expert advisors in the field of conservation and philanthropy.

The Pangolin Crisis Fund has one goal: Eliminate the demand, trafficking, and poaching crisis that puts all eight species of pangolins at risk of extinction.

Support will not be provided for:

• Post-graduate studies
• Ecological research without clear applied conservation implication
• Conference attendance
• Direct grants to governments (with rare exceptions)

The Pangolin Crisis Fund is not taking unsolicited proposals as it is by invitation only. However, we are interested in learning about current pangolin conservation work being conducted across pangolin ranges. If you are interested in providing us with a summary of your work, please submit an email to info@pangolincrisisfund.org. If the work is deemed potentially eligible and high priority for PCF funding, we will reach out to you.

The PCF Granting Committee makes decisions on whether proposals will be funded, based on consensus. Unsuccessful applicants may or may not be invited to resubmit for the next round of funding.
