Janel is excited and grateful to join WCN’s Marketing and Communications department where her two passions for Animals and Design perfectly meld. Janel was born and raised in the Bay Area. She received her B.A. in Design and Cinema/Digital Media from the University of California Davis. During her studies in sustainable design, she became fascinated with the process of designing solutions that assisted in the coexistence of nature and humans. Janel is thrilled to have this opportunity to further explore her interest in sustainability as the Marketing Coordinator for WCN. With her experience in Design, Administration and Marketing, she hopes to further assist WCN in increasing their engagement through various forms of communication and art. In her free time, you can find Janel working on personal art projects, listening to podcasts or playing video games. She is a self proclaimed homebody who loves spending weekends in with her family and two dogs Crumbs and Oreo.
